Dear Lander Families,
The countdown is almost over—the first day of school is right around the corner! On Monday, August 24th, we are excited to welcome back all of our 1st–5th grade students for a brand-new year of learning and growth. Our team has been hard at work preparing classrooms and lessons designed to spark curiosity, inspire discovery, and create a safe, welcoming space for every child.
We are thrilled to see our returning students and extend a very special welcome to those joining the Lander community for the first time. Together, we’ll make this year one filled with joy, success, and meaningful experiences. Thank you in advance for the important role you play in supporting your child’s journey and strengthening our school community.
We also invite you to join our Parent Teacher Group (PTG)! The PTG helps bring families together through events and activities that make Lander such a special place. We would love for you to get involved—please see the information below to learn how you can join.
As always, our staff is here to support you. Whether you have questions, ideas, or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your child’s teacher, our counselors, the office team, or the administrative staff. We are here to work alongside you to make this school year a positive and successful one.

Hello Mayfield parents,
Each school year, the residential parent/legal guardian of all Mayfield students is required to complete the Annual Update in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. The 26-27 Annual Update is now open in your portal and ready for you to complete .
This update is required and must be completed BEFORE AUGUST 20, 2026, even if nothing has changed or you recently enrolled. Completing the update ensures all student information and current Release Agreements are reviewed and that your Parent Portal account is active for the 26-27 school year, which is important for accessing other school programs and documents.
New families received their Infinite Campus Parent Portal activation code in the enrollment approval email. Please follow those instructions to create your account. For login assistance, email ichelp@mayfieldschools.org.

We appreciate you completing this as soon as possible so you can enjoy your summer without additional reminders.

If your child will require medication during the school day or has a health condition that will require special care during the upcoming school year, click on this link: Student Health Services. Along the right side of the page will be forms to download and print for your student’s specific needs. After these forms have been completed by you and your healthcare provider, they can be returned to the school via fax at 440-995-7355 or you can email them to Kathy Schmidt at kschmidt@mayfieldschools.org.
Please have all forms and medications at the school by 8/24/2026 so that your child is all set for the first day of school.

As the new school year approaches, Households are encouraged to apply for free or reduced priced meals. The free reduced meal application is also used to determine eligibility for free or reduced school fees and/or P-EBT benefits. Please complete an application if you are interested in applying for any of these benefits. For the 2026-2027 school year, the State of Ohio will reimburse schools $0.40 for a reduced-price lunch. Students eligible for reduced-price meals will receive lunch at no cost.
Applications can be submitted online by logging into your Parent Portal (Infinite Campus) and clicking on More-Meal benefits. You can click on link below for more info.
***Households must apply every year. If anyone in the household is on SNAP, you will automatically be approved for free meals and will receive notification by email/portal message.
Lunch prices are as follows:
Elementary Lunch is $3.25
Elementary Breakfast is $2.00
A la carte milk: $0.50
- Lunch payments can be made using the Parent Portal.
- Go to Food Service and click the blue pay button.
- All payments must be made online.

Counseling Services: Professional counselors available for individual and group sessions.

Bellefaire Services: Our school-based team addresses the mental health needs of students and provide services including assessment, wrap-around/community psychiatric support treatment, weekly individual and group counseling, and prevention programs for students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12.

Hazel Health Teletherapy - We are excited to be able to offer teletherapy for all students at no cost to your family through Hazel. Students can get teletherapy at school or at home on any smartphone, tablet, or computer. All Hazel Health visits are safe and confidential. In order to begin this process, parents need to provide consent for services by completing the following form.

Stay Informed with Our Bus Tracking App
You have access to a revolutionary smartphone app that helps to improve communication, school bus safety, and efficiency.
The Edulog Parent Portal app provides you with planned time and location information for your child's bus ride to and from school. On a daily basis, the app will show you the GPS location of the bus and send you a push notification when it is nearing your bus stop.
This app is free of charge for our parents, caregivers, and students. In addition to displaying the location of your bus and sending the notifications, you can also receive time-sensitive messages from our transportation department. You will also receive notification when a substitute bus is running your route due to maintenance, absences, etc.
